its been a while since my last post, but I have had other irons in the fire.

list of latest
- stripped the whore of parts I am keeping
- redesigned my rear links
- pickes up the 2.5" 7075 al for lower links
- located ft D60 and redesigned front of chassis
- Picked up Hydro dipped hood and grill from IA.

i will get pics up of hood soon

The lower links are 3.5" OD (I know they are solid)?

So while mocking up the front axle, I realized that I needed the frame rails 2" higher to clear the steering if I wanted to use the existing steering truss setup. So off comes the front on the chassis. I then will rework the front rails to gain what I need. The good thing is now that I have all the parts off the whore and the hood back, I can drop the shock hoops so I shouldnt have to cut slots into the hood for hoop clearence. I will spend lots of time with the tape in the next week to make sure it works out the way I want.






I plannned on working half the day on it today but ended up helping Ryan remove his t-case adapter to weld for this weeks trip. I did get a couple hrs in today mocking up the adjusted front frame rails, hood and grill and made a couple more rear upper link tabs.








I also got the rear upper link tabs made today and ready for welding. I will box in the back or each set of tabs.

Nice progress!

I just got home from working on it again. I got the rear axle lower mounts, chassis upper and lower link mounts on tonight. Also cut the uppers to length and cut the lower AL links so they can get machined. I Hope to get some more done tomorrow too. It is nice to see progress.
